Staying at the exquisite Loew’s Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel 15 minutes from the Nashville International Airport; 1.5 miles to downtown Nashville and honkeytonkin; central location to educational, medical and business districts; blocks away from Music Row, Hillsboro Village, the Parthenon, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Frist Center for Visual Arts and across the street from Vanderbilt University. Several lectures and/or seminars are planned for our professional education, and we are presently setting up tours and events including the above places, along with the Jack Daniels Distillery tour and Lower Broadway/Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge dancing. We are working to have a famous ‘geetar twanging’ star or two to join us sometime that week.
*Pre-Convention package centered around the capital of the United States, Washington, D.C. We’ll be staying at the Alexandria, VA Old Town Hilton , a 10 minute ride from D.C., and initial tours are being lined up for the beautiful monuments and buildings of the city, the Smithsonian Museum, Mount Vernon, Vineyards in northern Virginia, the White House and several other venues. Dates will be arrival Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 and departure for good ol’ Nashville, TN on Sunday, September 30th.
